Ever wanted to go searching for sunken treasure? Be a pirate on the high seas?
Lost Treasure combines the thrill of these both in one electronic board game.
In Lost Treasure, your goal is to triangulate the location of several chests of
valuables by guessing their location using the "finder".
The Number pad is used to input your current location
so the computer can determine if you are diving in the right place.
There are two chests located on the board at one
time. They are denoted by the Gold and Silver keys on the dive control panel.
By pusing one of the N-S or W-E buttons you can find which direction the chest you are looking for lies.
The compass will light up showing the direction of the treasure you are searching.
Once you think you have located a treasure, you use the dive simulator to check and see. If there is treasure at your location, your air tanks will "fill up". To complete a dive, you hold a number on the numeric key pad to
designate which portion of the area you are in that you are going to search.
Hold the number until you hear a reach bottom, or a treasure signal. Be careful...the interaction is timed, and if you spend too long underwater, you will run out of air and lose your treasure.
During your dive, your air is monitored on this gauge. After the dive, if you reach the surface before running out of air, this guage tells you the value of the treasure you found.
The search takes place on an island filled map.

There are eight bouys, four gold, four silver. You use these bouys to determine where the treasure is located (to narrow down your search). Also included in the game are ships to navigate the board with, money to show your net value, and treasure chests
.

The Treasure chests are where the pirating come in. Once you have dove a site, you collect a number of chests according to their value. You must take these chests back to a port to exchange them for money. If, in the process of going back to port,
one of your opponents meets up with you...he may attempt to pirate your Booty!
The winner is the first person to collect a predetermined amount of money.
